Is .tk domain SEO friendly?

Tokelau provides free .tk domain registration as well as paid. These free domains are pointed to Tokelau nameservers, which redirect HTTP traffic via HTML frames to a specified web page. Some have made statements that because Frames are used free .tk domains are not seo friendly. It's a misconception that frames are not seo friendly. We have tested this theory and found out that google and yahoo can index text loaded in frames. Therefore .tk domains are not so different from paid domains.

But there is a problem. MSN's bing is not equiped with these capabilities. Bing can not read from frames. If you want to fully capitalize on major three search engines (Google, Yahoo and Bing), you should probably not use frames.

Conclusion:
Frames are indexable by google and yahoo.
Frames are not considered seo friendly in case of bing.

SEO Dooms Day

World Wide Web is certainly growing each day with hundreds of thousands of pages being added everyday. Inevitably search engines like google, yahoo, bing etc. becomes more important to us in searching through billions of files. To some extent, the effectiveness of the search engines depends on the SEOs (Search Engine Optimizer) operating all over the world.

Let me elaborate about this in detail. Lets say you want to find the official website of a particular hotel. You do a search in google using the name of the hotel and it returns the search results in an orderly fashion. What if the official site of that hotel is not on the first page. Obviously it should be the first result. Instead it is on the 3rd page. Is this what you expect from a search engine. What is the cause? SEOs have influenced search engines in a such a way that we are the puppeteers of search engines. This is possible because the search algorithms use are not intelligent. If the search engines acts rationally it would have listed the official hotel site first in the search results.

Its a matter of time until someone comes up with an intelligent search algorithm which will wipe out search engine optimization industry forever. I hope it want be in my life time.

Importance of Title tag in SEO: SEO tips

Title tag is an important part of a web page that needs to be optimized in order to achieve high search ranks. Each page of your website should have an unique title. Search engines will not index similar pages. For example, if there are two pages that are similar, search engines will index only one. It will ignore the other one. In order to filter out similar pages, search engines will first look at the title tag. So, it is very important that you keep your titles unique.

Search engines like google use the title tag to figure out the relevancy of a web page to the search query (words used by a person to find some thing on the internet) to a great extent. So your title should have the best keywords for that web page. And also it should be meaningful and user friendly.
